Manyara National Park offers diverse safari experiences throughout the
year, with each season catering to different interests. The dry season
(June–October) is the best time for wildlife viewing, as animals gather around
water sources and tree-climbing lions are easier to spot. The peak months
(July–September) bring more visitors, so early morning drives are recommended
to avoid crowds. The wet season (November–May) transforms the park into a birdwatcher’s
paradise, with flamingos and migratory species arriving in large numbers.
January and February provide a balanced mix of wildlife, birdlife, and fewer
tourists. Packing appropriately for each season ensures comfort, whether it’s
warm layers for cool mornings or rain gear for showers. A Lake Manyara safari
