Following breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive north through the famous Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This remote wilderness is renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in giant fig trees during the heat of the day. Enjoy a leisurely game drive while searching for these remarkable predators alongside elephants, buffaloes, topis, and Uganda kobs. The scenic drive through the southern sector offers spectacular views of open savannah, acacia woodlands, and seasonal rivers. Enjoy lunch en route before continuing your wildlife viewing experience. In the evening, check in to your lodge in the Ishasha Sector, where you can relax and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to Kibale National Park headquarters for a detailed briefing prior to chimpanzee trekking. Guided by experienced ranger guides, you will enter the lush tropical rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees, following forest trails surrounded by rich biodiversity, birdcalls, and the sounds of the wild. The trek may take a few hours depending on the movement of the chimpanzees, but the experience is highly rewarding. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing their fascinating behavior, social interactions, feeding habits, and communication patterns in their natural habitat. After this incredible experience, return to the lodge for lunch and a short relaxation.
