Day01
Day 1: Entebbe, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari starts with a morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe, followed by a drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside towards northern Uganda. The first stop is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area dedicated to restoring Uganda’s rhino population. Here, you will join a guided walking rhino tracking experience with a trained ranger who shares insights about rhino behavior, conservation efforts, and habitat protection. After the activity, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying views of farmlands, villages, and changing landscapes along the route. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and settle in while taking in the natural surroundings. Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the Bottom of Murchison Falls
Begin the day with an early morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, offering the best opportunity to observe wildlife during the active hours. Drive across open savannah plains while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelopes, lions, and a variety of bird species. After exploring the park, return to the lodge for breakfast or lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. The cruise offers close views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants near the shoreline, and numerous water birds. The boat reaches the bottom of the falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular natural scene. Return to the lodge for dinner and overstay.

Day 3: Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart the lodge and head to the starting point for the hike to the top of Murchison Falls, one of Uganda’s most impressive natural viewpoints. Follow the trail alongside the Victoria Nile as the sound of rushing water grows stronger before reaching the summit, where the river forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges into the valley below. Take time to capture photographs and enjoy the breathtaking views of the waterfall and surrounding landscapes. After the hike, begin the transfer towards Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda. The journey passes through farmlands, trading centers, and scenic countryside. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Optional Bigodi Community Experience
After an early breakfast, proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Accompanied by experienced trackers, follow natural trails through the tropical rainforest while searching for chimpanzee groups and learning about their communication, feeding habits, and social structures. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have an opportunity to make short stops for refreshments, photography, or souvenir shopping before reaching your final destination.
