Signature Safari

The second day is packed with wildlife experiences in Murchison Falls National Park. Begin with a morning game drive across the savanna, where elephants, giraffes, lions, and antelopes are commonly seen. Later, take a boat safari along the Nile, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. The cruise ends at the base of the falls, where the river squeezes through a narrow gorge. In the afternoon, visit the top of the falls for a striking view of the Nile’s power. This combination of land and water activities ensures you see the park’s wildlife from different angles, making the day varied and rewarding.

Begin the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, one of the best places in East Africa to see wild chimps. Guided by rangers, you hike through the forest to locate chimp families, observing their social behavior, feeding, and movement in the trees. The trek can last from one to several hours depending on their location, and spending time with them offers a deeper understanding of primates beyond gorillas. Afterward, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise provides excellent sightings of hippos, buffalo, elephants, and abundant birdlife gathered at the water’s edge. The day combines primate tracking with classic safari activities, giving you two major highlights in one schedule while balancing forest trekking and river wildlife viewing.
