Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe and a drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking on foot, offering a rare opportunity to see Uganda’s only wild rhinos. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive with Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the falls

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Hike to the Top of the Falls and Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, hike or drive to the top of Murchison Falls for breathtaking views of the Nile forcing through a narrow gorge. After the experience, begin your scenic journey to Kibale National Park, passing through Fort Portal town with lunch en route and views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive in the evening, check in, relax, and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: : Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Experience

After breakfast, proceed to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking after a ranger briefing. The trek takes 2 to 5 hours depending on chimp location, followed by one hour observing them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided community and birding experience, known for rich biodiversity and cultural interactions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. En route, enjoy a scenic drive through western Uganda with a stop at the Equator line at Kikorongo for photography, the famous water experiment, and a brief refreshment break. Continue to Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara for a cultural visit and lunch, where you will explore Ankole heritage, traditions, and history. After lunch, proceed with your journey to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your Uganda Classic Safari
