Your safari tour begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe before travelling west towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive passes through rolling hills, tea plantations, traditional villages, and fertile farmlands that highlight the beauty of western Uganda. Stop for lunch at a selected restaurant before continuing to the Kikorongo Equator Monument. Here, take photographs, and learn about the geographical significance of the Equator crossing in western Uganda. Continue to the park, arriving in the late afternoon beneath the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains. Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, and numerous bird species as wildlife becomes active during the cool morning hours. Your professional guide will provide information about the park’s diverse ecosystems and the behaviour of the animals encountered along the way. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading to the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Enjoy a guided boat cruise along this natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George, where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife are observed. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Chimpanzee Trekking

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing Queen Elizabeth National Park for Kibale National Park through the scenic Crater Lake region. The drive offers beautiful views of rolling hills, tea estates, volcanic crater lakes, and rural communities surrounding Fort Portal. Upon arrival, proceed directly to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the tropical rainforest for chimpanzee trekking. Accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, search for habituated chimpanzees while also encountering other primates, colorful birds, butterflies, and diverse forest vegetation. Once located, spend one hour observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After the trek, transfer to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay near the forest.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Hike to the Top of the Falls

Following breakfast, depart Kibale National Park and begin the journey north to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive passes through scenic countryside, tea-growing areas, rural villages, and changing landscapes before reaching Uganda’s largest protected area. Stop for lunch en route before continuing into the park. Upon arrival, proceed to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile forces through a narrow seven-meter gorge before plunging approximately forty-three meters below. Enjoy panoramic viewpoints, photography opportunities, and the powerful sound of the cascading water while learning about the geological formation of the falls. Afterwards, continue to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay within the park

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Victoria Nile Boat Cruise

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Victoria Nile Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, set out on a guided game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. Explore open savannahs and riverine habitats in search of elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, oribis, and a variety of bird species. Your guide will provide insights into the ecology of the park while helping identify wildlife along the route. Return to the lodge for lunch before heading to Paraa for an afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. Cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls while observing hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge in the evening to relax before dinner and your final overnight stay in the park

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Travel south through the scenic landscapes of northern Uganda before stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided white rhino tracking experience. Accompanied by trained rangers, walk through the sanctuary to observe southern white rhinos in their natural environment while learning about Uganda’s rhino conservation Programme and ongoing efforts to restore the species. After the activity, enjoy lunch at the sanctuary restaurant before continuing your drive through central Uganda. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening, where your driver-guide will transfer you to your hotel, residence, or Entebbe International Airport, concluding your exploration of Uganda’s national parks and wildlife habitats.
