Your safari begins with a morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe towards Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda. After check-in and some relaxation at the lodge, prepare for an afternoon cycling experience around selected trails near the park. After breakfast, depart Lake Mburo National Park and continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through Uganda’s scenic western region. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, check into your lodge and prepare for an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephants near the shoreline, buffaloes, and numerous water birds. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is known for its high concentration of wildlife along the banks. After the boat experience, return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner as you prepare for the following day’s game drive and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Explore the savannah plains while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, antelopes, and other wildlife species. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading to Paraa jetty for an afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. The cruise provides close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and different bird species along the riverbanks. Continue towards the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile passes through a narrow gorge before dropping into the valley below. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight as you prepare for the final day of the safari.

Day 5: Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls and Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, depart for the hike to the top of Murchison Falls, one of Uganda’s most visited natural attractions. Follow the trail towards the viewpoint where the Victoria Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge and creates a powerful waterfall. Enjoy time taking photographs and appreciating the surrounding views before beginning your journey back to Kampala. The return drive takes you through Uganda’s countryside, offering views of villages, farmlands, and local communities along the route. Enjoy a lunch stop before continuing towards Kampala or Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your preferred location, marking the conclusion of your wildlife and adventure safari covering three of Uganda’s most popular national parks.
