Signature Safari

On arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to Kibale National Park, a region famous for its primates. In the afternoon, you embark on the Bigodi Wetland walk, which offers opportunities to spot diverse bird species, butterflies, and monkeys while learning about the local ecosystem. This walk also includes a community tour where you interact with residents, gaining insight into their culture, crafts, and conservation efforts. The experience blends wildlife and cultural immersion, setting the tone for your safari. Afterward, you check into your lodge near Kibale, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the chimpanzee trekking adventure the next day. Overnight stay in Kibale ensures proximity to the park headquarters for an early start

After an early breakfast, you report to Bwindi park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the dense forest to track mountain gorillas. The trek can last several hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but once found, you spend one hour observing their interactions and movements. This rare encounter is a highlight of any Uganda safari. After the trek, you return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest and most beautiful lakes. Here, you can relax, enjoy canoe rides, or simply take in the serene views of terraced hills and dotted islands. The evening is spent at a lakeside lodge, offering a peaceful retreat after the demanding gorilla trek.
