Day01
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe and Fly to Kihihi
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari representative and assisted with your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip in southwestern Uganda. The scenic flight provides excellent views of Uganda’s countryside, including lakes, forests, rolling hills, and rural communities. Upon landing at Kihihi, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive offers an introduction to the region’s spectacular landscapes and local culture. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short community walk or simply enjoy the scenic views of the forested hills. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day02
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the Bwindi National Park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your gorilla trekking experience. The trek takes you through dense rainforest, steep slopes, and thick vegetation in search of a habituated gorilla family. The duration of the trek varies depending on the location of the gorillas, but the reward is a full hour spent observing these remarkable primates in their natural habitat. You will watch them feed, groom, rest, and interact while guided by experienced trackers. After the trek, return for lunch and later transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Known for its terraced hills and numerous islands, the lake offers a perfect setting for relaxation. Enjoy a peaceful evening with stunning views before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Game Drives
Following breakfast at Lake Bunyonyi, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, rural villages, and agricultural areas before reaching the park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, and numerous bird species. During the drive, your guide will help spot wildlife while explaining the park’s ecosystems and conservation efforts. The open savannah plains provide excellent opportunities for photography, especially as animals become more active in the cooler hours of the afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay overlooking the park's wilderness.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura and Fly Back to Entebbe
Begin your day with breakfast before transferring to the Kyambura Gorge, a dramatic forested valley within Queen Elizabeth National Park known for its resident chimpanzee population. After a briefing, join experienced guides for a chimpanzee trekking activity through the gorge's tropical forest. As you follow the trails, you may also spot monkeys, birds, and other wildlife inhabiting this unique ecosystem. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend time observing their social behavior, communication, and movement through the trees. After the trekking experience, return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for your transfer to the nearby airstrip. Board your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe, enjoying aerial views of Uganda’s landscapes one final time. Upon arrival in Entebbe, connect with your onward international flight, marking the end of your memorable safari.
