Day01
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe andTransfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide welcomes you and gives a short briefing about the trip. You then begin the long drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, specifically the Rushaga sector. The journey takes about 8–9 hours, passing through towns, villages, and farmlands with rolling hills and tea plantations. Lunch is taken en route, and you continue towards Bwindi where gorilla trekking is done. On arrival, you check into your lodge near the park and rest after the long transfer. This day is mainly about settling in and preparing for the gorilla trek. Dinner is served at the lodge, and you spend the evening relaxing in a calm environment surrounded by forested landscapes.

Day 2: Rushaga Gorilla Trekking Experience with Batwa
This is the highlight of your safari. You wake early and head to Bwindi park headquarters in Rushaga for a briefing. Rangers explain trekking rules such as keeping distance from gorillas and moving quietly. The trek can last one to six hours depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you spend an hour observing silverbacks, mothers, and playful young ones. After trekking, you receive a certificate and return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. The Batwa share stories of their forest life, traditional dances, and hunting skills. This activity gives you insight into local heritage and supports community projects. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
