Day01

Day 1: Hotel Pickup, City Tour and Cultural Sites Visit, Proceed to Volcanoes

You are picked up from your hotel in Kigali and start with a guided city tour. The visit includes the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which provides important historical context, and local cultural sites such as art galleries and craft markets where you can learn about Rwanda’s traditions. Lunch is taken at a local restaurant, giving you a taste of Rwandan cuisine. In the afternoon, you continue to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, a drive of about 2.5 hours through Rwanda’s rolling hills and towns. On arrival, you check into your lodge near the park, where you can relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure planned for the next day. Day02

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking, Final Shopping and Departure

After an early breakfast, you head to Kinigi Park Headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek. Guided by rangers, you hike through bamboo forests and volcanic terrain to locate a gorilla family. Once found, you spend one hour observing their behavior and interactions in their natural habitat. After the trek, you return to Kigali, where you can stop for final shopping at local craft markets or souvenir shops. Depending on your flight schedule, you may also enjoy lunch in the city before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for departure. This day combines the highlight of gorilla trekking with practical arrangements, ensuring you leave Rwanda with lasting memories and meaningful experiences
