Day01

Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda, City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and start with a city tour of Kigali. The tour includes visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and cultural centers that showcase Rwanda’s resilience and heritage. You will also have time to enjoy Rwandan cuisine at a local restaurant before continuing your trip. In the afternoon, you transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, driving through Rwanda’s rolling hills and rural landscapes. On arrival, you check into your lodge near the park, where you can relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge complete the day, ensuring you are ready for the early start the next morning

Day02

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Culture

The second day begins with an early breakfast followed by a briefing at Volcanoes National Park headquarters. Guided by rangers, you trek through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes to locate a gorilla family. Once found, you spend one hour observing their interactions, feeding, and social behavior. This rare experience is the highlight of Rwanda safaris. After the trek, you return to the lodge for lunch and later take part in a cultural tour with local communities. Activities include traditional dances, storytelling, and learning about farming practices, which provide insight into the lives of people living near the park. In the evening, you transfer back to Kigali for your departure or overnight stay, marking the end of your two-day gorilla trekking tour
