Day01
Day 1: Arrival, Explore Kigali and Cross to Bwindi
On arrival in Kigali, your guide welcomes you and takes you on a short city tour. You visit important sites such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and cultural centers that give you a sense of Rwanda’s history and daily life. After lunch, you begin the drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The road trip takes about five to six hours, passing through rolling hills and rural communities. Your guide assists with border crossing formalities to make the process smooth. By evening, you reach Bwindi and check into your lodge near the park. Dinner is served, and you rest in preparation for the gorilla trekking adventure the next morning. Overnight stay is at Bwindi, close to the trekking starting point

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali for Departure
The day starts early with a briefing at Bwindi park headquarters before heading into the forest with rangers. The trek can take several hours depending on the gorilla family’s location, but once found, you spend one hour observing their behavior and movements. This close wildlife experience is the highlight of the safari. After the trek, you return to the lodge for lunch and check out. In the afternoon, you drive back to Kigali, retracing the route through the countryside. You arrive in Kigali in time for your evening flight or onward travel.
